In accordance with prevention and control measures enacted due to the novel coronavirus, and to respect our participating organisations and the public, Gallery Weekend Beijing will postpone or cancel its annual event, originally planned for 13 to 20 March, 2020. We will announce our final decision by 15 March depending on how the situation develops. If conditions have improved sufficiently to allow for large-scale events by mid-April, we will postpone Gallery Weekend Beijing 2020 to then and announce the final dates of the program by 15 March. If conditions remain severe, Gallery Weekend Beijing will officially cancel its 2020 edition; this decision would also come by 15 March.

We invite you to follow our official website, public WeChat account, Weibo, and other official social media platforms to receive timely information.

In order to prevent the spread of the virus, the Gallery Weekend Beijing team has been working remotely as of 1 February. Facing this major threat to public health, all members of the team will fully cooperate with prevention and control measures while still working online with the utmost efficiency. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us at any time. At the same time, the recruitment of interns and volunteers is temporarily suspended and will be resumed depending on the new decision.

We would like to warmly remind friends, colleagues, and visitors to stay safe, wear masks, and wash your hands frequently to protect your own health and that of your family. Thank you for supporting Gallery Weekend Beijing and for your anticipation of this week's program. We will continue to present the most compelling exhibitions and events in Beijing when the epidemic ends.

Meanwhile, Gallery Weekend Beijing will continue to provide content to you via our official social media platforms. We are looking forward to seeing all of you as soon as possible.
